Chapter Seven

Time flew, and eventually, so did Pari.

As demanding a teacher as the prince was, it also turned out that he was infinitely patient. He had to be, because Pari didn’t take to his lessons as well as both of them had hoped. From instructing Pari on how to create wind currents for takeoff to coaching him on gliding techniques to avoid smashing into stone walls for landing, Maxsim was there through it all. Unfortunately, these were skills that took Pari longer than either one of them anticipated, and they both had the bruises to prove it. Maxsim even had to save Pari from crashing several times while teaching him to fly on his back.

“You have to get this, Pari,” the prince sighed, once shifting back to his human form after a particularly harrowing rescue that would have otherwise had Pari impaling himself on the tops of at least a few snow-covered pine trees.

“But why?” Pari whined after he had shifted back as well. “Why do I have to learn this? It’s stupid. There is absolutely no reason I would ever need to fly on my back! And then be able to hover there? Really? It’s impossible and completely unnecessary. Tell me even one instance where I would ever have to…”

Maxsim pulled Pari into his arms. “I cannot enter you any other way, my clueless little dragon,” he whispered next to Pari’s ear, his hot breath moving Pari’s hair and sending trembles down his back. “And mating mid-flight is the only sure way to achieve success.”

“Wait. Enter me…you mean…but what… Oh! Oh great gods. How… how would that work… exactly?” Pari pulled back and gazed up into Maxsim’s face. “Tell me,” he breathed. Not that he actually needed to be told. He was imagining it just fine, but he did love it when the Prince talked dirty to him. When he whispered in his ear about dragon chest against dragon chest, tails entwining, wings enveloping, while Maxsim speared him with that massive dragon cock. Pari was only too well aware of how hard and huge it could get—it had a starring role in every one of his daydreams and fantasies, and it was just as impressive as the Pearl dragon himself. Pari had wondered if it could possibly fit into his much smaller Ruby dragon body. But he was willing to try. For the sake of scientific experimentation, of course.

Maxsim cupped Pari’s face with his warm hand. “We fly high up in the clouds. Very high,” he breathed. “Then we come together with you flying on your back. I cover you, maneuvering over you in order to penetrate your body. That will take some time. It’s why you need to hover. The entry needs to be—unhurried. Deliberate. Inch by inch. But when it’s accomplished, when I am fully inside you, I will wrap my wings around you, and we will drop out of the sky.”

Pari’s heart stuttered “Um… what?”

Maxsim laughed. “No worries, sweetheart. We will both come—hard—and then pull back up before we hit the ground.
